On 10th September, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary Department held a series of celebrations to welcome the 34th Teachers’ Day.
Initially at the flag-raising ceremony in the morning, student representative from Class 1, Grade 4 read soulful poems to all the teachers and student representatives from Grade 3 presented flowers to each teacher.
At noon, teachers Wu Fei, Li Ji and Jiao Jiao, on behalf of the Primary Section, participated in the teaching staff climbing and high-altitude walking competitions organized by the school, which splendidly demonstrated the confidence and enterprising spirit of the teachers with the Primary Division.
Then in the afternoon, classes from the middle and senior grades of the Primary Department independently carried out the ‘My Favorite Teacher’ activity at the class meetings. In addition, many children made the best of the holiday to make their own exquisite greeting cards to express their wishes to the teachers.
All in all, this informative event cultivated students’ love and respect for the teachers, enriched teachers’ extracurricular life and strengthened teachers’ cohesion as well.
